Bringing Light to the Most Unreached Areas of the World
"In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." - John 1: 4, 5
The world is in darkness. Watch the news and you can see that it’s filled with war, violence, poverty, hunger, and hopelessness. But Jesus is the light of this world and only Jesus can bring light the world’s darkness. The darkness is caused by sin and Jesus is the only one who died, once and for all, to take away our sins. Romans 10:13 proclaims “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Jesus is the one and only hope for all those who live in darkness. In Him there is light and this light shines in the darkness. The darkness will not overcome it.
However, there are those who live in the darkness who have no hope of ever hearing about Jesus. They are the Unengaged Unreached People Groups and those who live in the Most Unreached Areas of the world. These people do not have a church, a pastor, or a working living amongst them. Romans 10:14, 15 asks the questions:
How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
Won’t you become someone who will go and tell them about Jesus? Won’t you become someone who sends those willing to go?
